Use of AI Chat Agent

We use an AI-powered chat agent on our website to assist with answering basic questions about our services and website content, and to improve your experience.

Data Privacy and the Salesforce Trust Layer

Your privacy is a priority. Our chat agent is powered by Salesforce. We utilise the Salesforce Trust Layer, a robust set of security features designed to protect your data.

  • No LLM Training: Any data or personal information you enter into the chat is not used by Salesforce or third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers to train their public AI models.

  • Data Masking: The Trust Layer automatically detects and masks sensitive personal data (like credit card numbers or phone numbers) before it is processed by the AI, adding an extra layer of privacy.

What Data We Process

When interacting with the AI agent:

  • The agent may process information that you choose to provide during the conversation.

  • This may include personal data such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name, or other details.

  • The agent may collect this information for the purpose of arranging a follow-up with a member of our team or directly responding to your enquiry.

Important: While we implement strong security measures, please do not share highly sensitive personal information, financial data, proprietary business secrets, or any confidential information in the chat.

How We Use Conversation Logs

Conversations with the AI agent are logged and may be reviewed internally by our team to:

  • Improve the quality, accuracy, and relevance of the agent's responses.

  • Maintain oversight of system performance and support internal business operations.

Data Retention

We will only retain conversation logs and personal data collected through the chat agent for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above, or for a maximum period of 6 months, unless a longer retention period is required by law or to manage an ongoing customer relationship.

Lawful Basis for Processing

The lawful basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), namely to provide effective, efficient customer service and support business development. Where required, we may also rely on your consent when you voluntarily provide personal information to initiate a follow-up.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that your data is handled securely when using this service.
